Flow cytometry is the high-throughput analysis technique par excellence. It allows rapid cell-by-cell analysis based on criteria of size, cellular content (granularity) and fluorescence. Depending on the equipment used, the analysis can be carried out based on criteria measuring up to 50 parameters simultaneously on cells in suspension.
