The flow cytometry core facility of the Infinity laboratory is strengthening its offering with the acquisition of an ID7000 spectral cytometer from SONY. This new instrument is capable of more precisely analysing different cell populations.

Equipped with five lasers (355, 405, 488, 561 and 637 nm) and 147 detectors, this state-of-the-art equipment offers comprehensive spectral coverage, paving the way for the design of highly complex multi-parameter panels exceeding 40 parameters.

Thanks to its advanced spectral unmixing technology, the ID7000 enables precise discrimination of fluorescent signals, even in contexts with similar spectral signatures, ensuring robust analyses and high-quality data. Its high sensitivity is a major asset for studying rare or weakly expressed cell populations. The built-in autofluorescence subtraction function further improves the accuracy and reliability of the results. Furthermore, the equipment is associated with an AutoSampler (plate & tube-based automated analysis), allowing automated acquisitions.
