As part of the GDR Imabio, the imaging platforms of Toulouse (TRI) and Bordeaux (BIC) are organising a thematic day on machine learning (ML) for image analysis in biology. Our aim is to raise awareness among the imaging community (electron and photon microscopy) regarding “new” ML approaches, by highlighting tools, their applications, and their limitations/drawbacks/artefacts. The goal is to introduce a non-specialist audience to the subject, providing them with the basic keys to understand the methods and their fields of application.
