In January 2014, the Toulouse Cell Imaging Research Technological Platform, which has IBiSA labelling and is already ISO 9001 certified, was the first platform to be certified under the new NFX 50-900 standard. Following this latest audit, this certification has been successfully renewed.
The NF X 50-900 standard was drawn up primarily for Research Technology Platforms, but it can also be applied to any other scientific infrastructure.
This standard, which includes all the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, incorporates additional requirements specific to scientific service and research activities in the Life Sciences and, for the «Management» section, recommendations from ISO 9004 in the form of requirements or notes.
