THE PHENYX OPERA, the IRSD high-throughput confocal microscope

The Opera Phenix available on the IRSD Organoid platform is a spinning disk confocal microscope. It enables the rapid and fully automated acquisition of a wide variety of live or fixed samples (organoids, cells, tissues, bacteria, etc.) on plates or slides. Thanks to the presence of 4 cameras, it is possible to acquire 4 fluorescence channels simultaneously (DAPI, green, red and far red) as well as brightfield transmission.
The applications of this microscope are extremely varied (quantification, morphological studies, tracking, FISH, translocation, mitotic index calculation, etc.). The modules available for analysis make it possible to obtain highly robust data quickly and easily. In addition, the organoid platform provides a culture room for users who may need one.
