One of the current agronomic challenges relates to the identification of more environmentally friendly plant protection products. This research requires the screening of several thousand candidate molecules, notably by evaluating their effects on the development of plant-pathogenic microorganisms.
To this end, thanks to funding from the Occitanie Region / ERDF and a partnership with Agronutrition, a subsidiary of DeSangosse, the FRAIB imaging platform at TRI-Genotoul is acquiring new equipment: A3 scanners, as well as a macroscope and a microscope combining fast acquisition with a large depth of field. All of this equipment is available to book via the TRI-Genotoul website.
