The FRAIB platform has recently acquired a new Axioscan7 blade scanner from Zeiss. It allows for the scanning of up to 100 blades at 20x or 40x magnification. Able to automatically detect objects on the blades, it then adjusts the focus and starts the large-scale scanning of the samples. Currently capable of imaging the blades in white light, it will soon be equipped with a fluorescence module allowing it to scan samples in multi-color, including DAPI, GFP, RFP, Cy5.
- Automatic detection and acquisition of white light or fluorescence at medium flow rates from slides with a magnification of 20x or 40x
- XY observation on one or more Z-planes
- Fluorescence acquisition covering the entire visible spectrum (such as DAPI, GFP, RFP, Cy5…)
- Up to 100 blades in automatic mode
