Fast-growing sorting centre

Thanks to the support of Midi-Pyrénées region as part of the PRISM project and COMUE Through the IDEX and the Go Ahead project, the TRI platforms have been able to significantly enrich their instrument parks as well as their associated expertises. They are now equipped with super-resolution microscopy, time-resolved fluorescence, high-speed, high-sensitivity and high-resolution microscopy equipment in vivo which are made available to the entire scientific and technical community.
This set is at the heart of issues centred on the analysis and understanding of molecular interactions within organisms (human, animal and plant) in vivo and this, in various physiological contexts (during development, during pathological processes...).
A synergy between the stakeholders enabled the successful implementation of these technologies as quickly as possible given the set requirements. Furthermore, the platform's scope has been extended with the integration of the infectious imaging located at the IPBS site. The TRI Management would like to thank everyone involved in the production of these programmes.
A new management team
After nearly 15 years as co-director of the platform, Alain Jauneau gives way. Sophie Allart, Cécile Pouzet, and Jacques Rouquette the replacement nearby by Philippe Cochard.
Platforms are tools at the heart of scientific and technical strategy. The evolution of technologies, associated know-how, and the costs linked to the investment and maintenance of these resources make it essential to share this capital among as many academic and industrial actors as possible. The ground covered since the year 2000 speaks for itself regarding the merits of this approach. TRI is and must remain at the heart of scientific themes; that is its raison d'être. The TRI network is in good hands, and its dynamism is guaranteed by a scientific council that is well aware of the issues at stake. I would also like to pay tribute to Philippe, my accomplice and friend, who originated the network.
