The FR AIB imaging platform is organising a demonstration of the Innopsys InnoQuant slide scanner from 25 to 28 November 2024 on the Auzeville-Tolosane campus. This hybrid system is positioned between a confocal microscope and a slide scanner.
Unlike traditional scanners, this instrument uses 4 lasers for excitation (375nm, 488nm, 561nm and 640nm), 4 photomultipliers to collect the signal and up to 7 fluorescence filters per detector. Acquisitions are performed in fluorescence only, although the system allows the simultaneous detection of 4 colours. The slide is scanned directly across its entire width, without image tiling and for a resolution of up to one pixel per 0.5 µm.
