Following the interruption due to health reasons, the Highlight Imaging day is back in-person! This meeting will be a great opportunity to discuss the latest advancements in the field of imaging in a friendly atmosphere.
The Toulouse Imaging Network platform is organising another scientific half-day dedicated to advances in intravital imaging, focusing on «Imaging and modeling flow and reaction in living systems». Living organism imaging is experiencing remarkable growth, driven by the synergy of expertise among biologists, mathematicians, computer scientists, physicists and chemists. New equipment and methods are constantly emerging, enabling living systems to be observed in three dimensions, in real time, at depth and from the molecule to the entire organism... Researchers are tracking the trafficking or interactions of proteins of interest (2008 Nobel Prize in Chemistry), localising molecules at nanoscopic resolution (2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry) and determining the atomic structure of macromolecules (2017 Nobel Prize in Physics)... The field of application of imaging spans the entire animal and plant kingdoms as well as all the processes that govern living systems, from the earliest stages of an individual's development through to senescence, under both normal and pathological conditions.
