Les syst\u00e8mes d\u2019imagerie de bioluminescence ont \u00e9t\u00e9 sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7us pour l\u2019observation de tr\u00e8s faibles niveaux de lumi\u00e8re, r\u00e9sultant par exemple de r\u00e9actions chimiques ou biologiques. Contrairement aux autres types d\u2019imagerie, l\u2019\u00e9chantillon n\u2019est pas \u00e9clair\u00e9 mais g\u00e9n\u00e8re lui-m\u00eame la lumi\u00e8re : la photo-toxicit\u00e9 est donc compl\u00e8tement nulle et les temps d\u2019acquisitions longs. L\u2019intensit\u00e9 et la dynamique des signaux observ\u00e9s constituent cependant des indicateurs tr\u00e8s fins des r\u00e9actions chimiques ou biologiques se d\u00e9roulant au sein de l\u2019\u00e9chantillon, raison pour laquelle la bioluminescence est fr\u00e9quemment utilis\u00e9e pour la mesure et le suivi de flux calcique dans les \u00e9chantillons \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle de la cellule comme de l\u2019organisme. Les observations se d\u00e9roulent dans des enceintes totalement opaques \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re environnante.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
