From 7 November to 20 December 2024, the Universit\u00e9 Paul Sabatier will therefore host several exhibitions: \u00abSymbiose\u00bb, created by the artist Pascale Gadon-Gonzalez in partnership with TRI-Genotoul; \u00abMicrobiologie, Mol\u00e9cul'Art\u00bb, designed by Patricia Siguier &amp; Mich\u00e8le Coddeville; and \u00abTRI-Genotoul s'affiche\u00bb, showcasing the most stunning photographs taken by the network.<\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-7999\" src=\"https:\/\/trigenotoul.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/AFFICHE-SYMBIOSE-425x600.jpg\" alt=\"Symbiosis Exhibition \" width=\"264\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>The \u00abSymbiosis\u00bb exhibition\u00bb<\/h3>\n<p>Since 2017, the artist Pascale Gadon-Gonz\u00e1lez has been collaborating with the CMEAB, Centre de Microscopie \u00c9lectronique Appliqu\u00e9e \u00e0 la Biologie, Universit\u00e9 Toulouse III \u2013 Paul Sabatier.<\/p>\n<p>Her work and research lead her to question the interdependence of life-support systems. As early as 1995, she collaborated with members of the AFL (French Lichenological Association), learning from lichens that they are not what they seem, and lived a cognitive and sensory experience that would drive her to research and develop a \u00absymbiotic praxis\u00bb.<br \/>\nHer photographic work is situated at the crossroads of art and science, exploring the notions of otherness, symbiosis and interdependence. She focuses in particular on the lichen, an emblematic element of her research. From 7 November to 20 December 2024, Paul Sabatier University will host several exhibitions: \"Symbiose\", created by the artist Pascale Gadon-Gonzalez in partnership with TRI-Genotoul; \"Microbiology, Mol\u00e9cul\u2019Art\", conceived by Patricia Siguier and Mich\u00e8le Coddeville; and \"TRI-Genotoul on Display\", showcasing the network\u2019s finest photographs.\nThe \"Symbiose\" exhibition\nSince 2017, the artist Pascale Gadon-Gonz\u00e1lez has been collaborating with the CMEAB (Centre for Electron Microscopy Applied to Biology) at the University of Toulouse III \u2013 Paul Sabatier.\nHer work and research have led her to explore the interdependence of different forms of life. From 1995 onwards, she has been collaborating with members of the AFL (French Association of Lichenology), learning that lichens are not what they appear to be and undergoing a cognitive and sensory experience that would prompt her to seek out and develop a \u00absymbiotic approach\u00bb.\nHer photographic work lies at the crossroads of art and science, exploring the notions of otherness, symbiosis and interdependence. She focuses in particular on lichen, a key element of her research.
