Afin d\u2019\u00eatre lu et transcrit, ses diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9gions se condensent ou au contraire se d\u00e9plient.En r\u00e9gulant l\u2019organisation et la fonction du g\u00e9nome, les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de ces condensats sont au c\u0153ur de l&rsquo;expression du g\u00e9nome.<\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-6631\" src=\"https:\/\/trigenotoul.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/figure_erdel_site-1.jpg\" alt=\"condensat ADN\" width=\"529\" height=\"379\" \/>Dans le cadre d\u2019une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e dans la revue <strong>Biophysical Journal<\/strong>, un groupe de scientifiques impliquant le plateau TRI-Genotoul du CBI a caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 les condensats en fonction de la taille des mol\u00e9cules d\u2019ADN qui les constituent. Les r\u00e9sultats sugg\u00e8rent que l\u2019ADN g\u00e9nomique dans la cellule pourrait avoir un comportement de type solide ou au contraire se fluidifier lorsque les zones d\u2019interaction impliquent des r\u00e9gions d\u2019ADN de tailles plus courtes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si l\u2019\u00e9tat de condensation de notre g\u00e9nome est li\u00e9 \u00e0 son degr\u00e9 d&rsquo;expression, les r\u00e9gions g\u00e9nomiques r\u00e9prim\u00e9es \u00e9tant ainsi plus condens\u00e9es que les r\u00e9gions actives, les chercheurs pr\u00e9cisent ici les modalit\u00e9s physiques d&rsquo;interactions de ces brins d&rsquo;ADN : leur degr\u00e9 de fluidit\u00e9 est inversement proportionnel \u00e0 leur taille. En effet, s&rsquo;ils sont courts (&lt;1kB), les brins d&rsquo;ADN adopteront un comportement de type liquide, alors qu&rsquo;au contraire ceux de grande taille adopteront un fonctionnement de type solide.
