Cette am\u00e9lioration notable de la r\u00e9solution est extr\u00eamement prometteuse puisqu\u2019elle ouvre de nouveaux champs d\u2019investigation \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nanoscopique. La\u00a0microscopique super-r\u00e9solutive\u00a0s\u2019est d\u2019ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0 r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9e\u00a0essentielle en virologie, canc\u00e9rologie et neuroscience. L&rsquo;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la microscopie super-r\u00e9solue est devenue une n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 absolue pour mener \u00e0 bien une recherche comp\u00e9titive dans de nombreux domaines de la biologie, et notamment en immunologie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plus particuli\u00e8rement, l&rsquo;approche par d\u00e9pl\u00e9tion de la fluorescence au point focal (STED) qui repose sur un principe de balayage confocal, connait des d\u00e9veloppements rapides et permet d&rsquo;acc\u00e9der \u00e0 une vitesse d&rsquo;acquisition de l&rsquo;ordre de la seconde, au Plateau de plusieurs minutes avec des technologies reposant sur le pointillisme (PALM\/STORM). Prochainement, une unit\u00e9 STED 3D sera install\u00e9e sur le microscope confocal Leica SP8, permettant d&rsquo;imager deux couleurs dans l&rsquo;infra-rouge avec une r\u00e9solution de l&rsquo;ordre de 50 nm. LeSTED\u00a0permettra \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 Toulousaine au sens le plus large, de lever un verrou technologique tr\u00e8s important. L&rsquo;originalit\u00e9 du STED est qu&rsquo;il est le seul microscope de super-r\u00e9solution permettant de travailler sur coupes de tissus, ce qui ouvre la perspective extr\u00eamement int\u00e9ressante d&rsquo;acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la physiopathologie humaine.
